Greetings all! For those of you who actually take the time to read these posts which chronicle the omens taken by the Seer (or individual representing the office of the Chief Seer) you will notice that some of the most recent omens are missing. Due to the fact that the Grove has not been able to gather publicly with the rest of the community, many of us have been working our celebrations from home. I have collected a few of the omens taken by our Grove members and will be posting them following the Beltaine Feast.
I have been watching the omens for the situation our world is experiencing for some time and I admit that the omens are not exactly auspicious. The Kindred are teaching their children valuable lessons on taking care of the Earth and taking care of each other. I cannot say whether or not we will be able to go back to “normal” after this, but then again, some of us firmly believe that the old normal was broken and we need to come to grips with a new “normal.”
Anyway, I have said in the past that the Kindred keep reminding us that we are a community and no matter what comes our way, we will get through it by acting like a community. It is not about “me” it is about “we”.
